I need a WIG EXPERT to answer these series of questions. HELP.?

I'm THINKING about getting a wig. I just have several questions needed to be answered before I decide to wear one.

1. Which wig is best, Human Hair wig or Remy wig? Why?

2. How long does it last?

3. How do I take care of it (can I use gels or hair lotions or hair dryer/heating iron)? What type of comb/brush to use?

4. Is it washable?

5. I heard that wigs can be sewed on. Is it true?

6. What's the price range?

    3) For Human Hair: Care

    Buying human hair wigs is only half the process. You also need to take care of the wig on a daily basis. Typically, human hair takes more of your time than synthetic hair does. Synthetic hair does also need to be washed, but not as much as human hair.

    One of the things you should be aware of before you buy a wig made of human hair is that because the hair is not getting the same kinds of oils that it would get if it were growing out of a scalp, you need to be sure to know what kinds of shampoos, conditioners, and gels are best to help keep the hair looking natural.

    Synthetic hair may or may not be the best choice for you. It is cheaper, but also usually only lasts for about a year at a time. After a year, it loses its shape and texture.

    While human hair wigs are not perfect, they typically are chosen over synthetic wigs simply because they look so much more real.

    And Remy: Always brush out all knots before you wash your hair or go to sleep at night. Wash, condition and moisturize your hair every 3 – 5 days. Extensions do not receive the natural oils from your scalp so it is important wash hair properly. Always use a low PH high moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.     • Because some shampoos can be harsh, pre-condition your extensions before washing. Simply apply conditioner to hair without rinsing, then wash hair normally and follow with normal conditioning.
    • Use a soft bristle brush starting from the bottom, gently work your way up. Do not tug or pull at the hair.
    • At night, tie your hair up gently.
    • Never sleep with wet hair.
    • If you have braid extensions, run your fingers through the braids to help prevent tangling.
